Prop Design: Flying Vehicle

Term 1 project to create a flying machine made of wooden items.

I decided to make the base out of stained wood. The propellers are made of carved fan blades in the shape of a maple key because of their ability to open and spin when dropped.
The coconut acts as a connection point to the 'blades' and body of the prop's base.

I had a couple ideas for the wings themselves and this demonstrates both ideas of a more stretched fabric V.S feathers, for colour and variation to the black stained wood.
